Schwarzkopf Professional, founded in 1898, has its origins in Berlin. Hans Schwarzkopf started by opening a small pharmacy, which evolved into a leading brand that continues to set new standards in the market even today.

In 1995, the brand was acquired by the Düsseldorf-based company Henkel, which brought it into contact with prestigious suppliers. In 1988, 100 years later, the brand became one of the largest cosmetic manufacturers.
