To backcomb your hair without damaging it, take a thin section of hair and hold it above your head. Then place the ghd tail comb a few centimeters from the root. Next, comb the strand against the direction of hair growth, with two quick strokes, stopping just before the root. For the third stroke, backcomb straight towards the root. Continue on each area you wish to backcomb, using this method.
